My dad had the brown wagon version of this with a built 350. Sweet merciful googly moogly that was a hell of a sleeper.

My family was the small GM wagon king back in the late 80's.
Mom had a blue '79 Century wagon, and we got in an accident, totaling it. I think it had the 301 Pontiac motor, as it had "4.9 LITRE" badges on the fenders.
She replaced it with a brown '78 Century wagon, V8 of unknown size, even after I pleaded with her (I was like, 5 or 6) to get the wood paneled AMC Eagle wagon we looked at on that used car budget lot. Jalop from the start, I was.
Then she met my future step dad. He had a blue '80 Malibu wagon, again V8 engine size unknown, but that thing was fast. Rusted apart in the WI winters to the point the rear frame cracked in half.
Yes I still want one of my own.
